Supervision and Consultation & Consultation Groups for Therapists

Therapists need spaces of reflection as much as our clients do. The work of psychotherapy can be demanding, enlivening, and at times depleting. Supervision and consultation offer a place to think deeply about clinical dilemmas, expand perspective, and sustain the vitality needed for long-term practice.

I provide supervision and consultation, as well as consultation groups, for early-career therapists, advanced clinicians, and those seeking ongoing professional development. My approach is firmly rooted in a relational psychoanalytic perspective.

Why It Matters

Even the most seasoned therapist benefits from another mind in the room. Consultation provides:

  • Fresh perspective on challenging cases or dynamics

  • Relational and psychoanalytic reflection beyond technique, focusing on meaning, unconscious process, and the therapeutic relationship

  • Support for countertransference and the emotional demands of the work

  • Sustaining curiosity and vitality in long-term clinical practice

Supervision for Pre-Licensed Therapists

For AMFTs, APCCs, and ACSWs working toward licensure, I offer supervision that is both rigorous and supportive. My focus is on developing:

  • A strong clinical identity

  • Confidence in relational psychoanalytic psychotherapy

  • Reflective capacity to tolerate uncertainty and complexity

  • Ethical and professional grounding

Consultation for Licensed Therapists

Licensed clinicians may seek consultation for a variety of reasons — to work through a stuck case, to explore their own growth edges, or to stay connected to a community of psychoanalytic practice. I provide both individual consultation and reflective consultation groups.

I walk into the storm, carrying its calm in me.
